Assessor Comments
Very good quality young wethers by Mumblebone rams suitable to run in a wool growing operation or fatten as lambs. Long body, large frame and deep barrel top young wethers carrying the true to type Mumblebone quality wools. Soft handling very bright and stylish. 70% poll & 30% normal wether horn. Approx 6% have a slightly longer tail - 1 knuckle more perhaps. Very open faced and plain bodied sheep. Overall a great draft of young wool growers with the tail removed and any faults or blemishes classed out at marking. Crutched early Feb due to wet weather and loose feed at the time.
