A very good quality line of 4 month old, Poll Dorset x Border Leicester/Merino 2nd cross lambs. These lambs are by the Ashbank sires, out of Bindaree and Talbragar Border Leicester cross Bella Lana Merino blood Merino ewes. They have been weaned at assessment. They have had an extended introduction to trail fed Barley, and Wheat, and have been weaned onto fresh winter cereal crop while being supplemented with grain Oats.. The bulk of these lambs are starting to see the results of this grain. There has been a 5% tail removed. 1 lamb was noted with black wool on the near side rear leg. 5 long tailed lambs were marked at time of assessment.
