A superb line of shorn feeder lambs! This type of article is hard to find at this time.
June/July 2021 drop. Shorn November 25th.
Genetic profile: By Derrynock PD Rams (50%) & Cashmore Oaklea Rams (50%) & out of Mat Composite X Ewes (Cashmore Oaklea genetics). Selection of genetic criteria on purchasing rams. A big emphasis on (1) Weaning wt, (2) Dressing percentage – Carcass & (3) Meat marbling – IMF.
Health treatments: 2 x 6 in 1 vaccinations & last drenched on the 5th November with Abaguard & Duocare (LV).
Lambs are grain trained and have been on self feeders containing Barley.
All the hard work has been done with the above lambs. Please refer to the photos & videos as they tell the story in full.
