Of the Wethers assessed, there was 3% of 2 teeth which were well established adult teeth, suggesting they could be a little out of the normal lambing spec, big majority of lambs mouthed had very sound lambs teeth.

Well bred line of March/April drop wethers with a lot of potential, these wethers are normally retained and sold into the heavy mutton trade. Majority of these wethers are plain body and easy care type sheep that are carrying a very good quality fleece. Approx 20% poll, 80% horned. (normal wether horn that has been dehorned, very small % of heavier horn). Hard to find these lines of one age wethers. Note this is one of three lots being a run out the gate. 3x 6 deck lots so there maybe a small variation in the assessment to delivery, all endeavors will be made to keep all lots as even as possible. These wethers had a lot of yard time and drafting out of other sheep prior to assessing in some pretty hot conditions, there will be a considerable weight gain to be made if given the right opportunity. Wool cut and micron are the flock average.

Healthy hides with condition, Daisey burr being light on poll ,brisket lower legs and ribs. very odd wether dirty around the hocks as a result of the recent fresh pick.

Complete drop of 2023 drop wethers, would normally be kept, though need to make room for lambing ewes. Delivery date is flexible due to weather, but would like to deliver all lots around same day.
