Assessor Comments
800 store lambs weighing between 29kg & 39kg to average 34.3kg. Approx 40% are WS x Comp and 60% Composite x Composite. Lambpro genetics have been used for the past 5 years and the White Suffolks are from Gemini. They are a August drop lamb, weaned in Nov and shorn in mid Dec just before Xmas. They are running on dry pasture and getting 800 grams of barley 3 times per week. The plan was to finish them however due to the dry seasonal conditions they are to be sold. They have reasonable frame with not a lot of fat cover. The adult ewes have lice so these were jetted with Zinjet at shearing. Quality, well bred lambs that are well set up to feed on or put onto stubbles.
