850 Poll dorset x Comp & Comp x Comp / Merino lambs all weighed 28-40kg to average 34.5kg full. Approx 50% are July drop and 50% September drop, weaned in Nov and Shorn and drenched on the 10/1. They have been on summer crop and corn in feeders since mid Jan. The vendor selects the top rams at Bruan Poll dorsets each year which shows through the lambs. The Comp x Comp/Merino lambs have more leg and a more merino tip in the wool, you can pick them from their face and wool. They have length as well as the depth to grow into export lambs. They are normally held for the supermarket though the summer crop is running out so some need to be moved.
