860 Jan - March 2024 drop Merino Wether lambs, bred on Egelabra blood. They have averaged 28kg on assessment and present in store condition off the back of tightening seasonal conditions in western Queensland. There is a large portion displaying young wether horn & there is also a small amount of burr in their fleece around the head, neck and points. These wethers are displaying the benefits of top quality ram selections with ample frame, length and depth of body. The Chandler family from "Hillalong" have been breeding sheep for generations in the Barcaldine district and have a flock based on top quality Egelabra genetics. The Hillalong flock is renowned for producing above average heavy fleeces at an impressive 19 micron. These lambs are the entire drop with the tail drafted out as the vendor is not retaining any of these lambs. Buyers purchase with full confidence.
