960, the pick of 1380 lambs. A good quality line of 4 - 5 month-old Merino wether lambs in fresh store condition. Weighed 22 to 47 kg to avg 30.7 kg after a 24 hr curfew. Unshorn, wool length at assessment avg 30 mm, crutched, drenched & Cliked, good attractive staple, some clover burr. Running on dry Mitchell & Buffell Grass /saline country east of Dirranbandi. Buyers freighting these lambs' long distances please allow for extra shrinkage, if any. These wethers lambs have the genetics to fill the bales going forward, proven performers for many years! The vendor has in previous years grown the lambs out to kill weights.
