Assessor Comments
Offering 975 mixed sex Poll Dorset/Merino lambs. These lambs were 34kg live at assessment and were shorn in late October. They are in store condition with a mixture of score 2 and high score 1 lambs which are on a rising plane due to recent rain. The lambs are out of vendor bred ewes and sired by Sovereign Poll Dorset rams. The lambs would suit a backgrounder with good quality feed or going into a grain fed operation to finish these lambs off in the next few months. Please note 40 of the lambs were only shorn on the day after the assessment that missed the October shearing and will be included at delivery. Also noted were a few lambs with light scabby mouth and 3 sighted with light horn. Don't miss this opportunity to purchase a large line of first cross lambs that are not carrying excess weight for their frame and should have provide good weight gain on the right feed.
