Assessor Comments
Offering 560 Poll Dorset & Composite sired lambs all bred from quality composite ewes. Lambs are very good quality, presenting in forward store to forward condition, are January shorn and are up to date with animal health treatments. The Goodwood lambs are terrific performers, sired by high indexing Elsted Poll Dorset & Cashmore Oaklea rams out of Cashmore Oaklea & Mount Ronan composite ewes. Goodwood genetic selection is based on high muscling, quick growing lambs with these lambs showing those traits. A draft of lambs that should hit any market required. A top quality article, 100% weighed into a tight range that are getting harder to find. The hard work done and the breeding and capacity to finish to heavy trade & export weights, it represents a chance to acquire lambs to take into the feedlot, green feed or winter crops (vendor offers a 740 head (b-double) similarly weighted lambs this sale over 2 lots & properties).
