Buyers, to be offered for sale are 175 Poll Dorset X Border Leicester/Merino Suckers. Averaging 30Kg at assessment after a tail was removed, these lambs have had a terrific start to life. They are grain trained (barley) and have been running on the oat crop since weaning as well as having access to multi vitamin lick blocks. They have had a range of health treatments including Scabi Guard, 6 in1 + B12, Q Drench and Trifecta. Sired by Smithston and Narranmore Poll Dorset Rams and out of western bred, medium to large framed Border Leicester X Merino Ewes, these lambs are very well bred and have previously had a strong reputation meeting export and domestic kill weights quite easily. These lambs do present with dag due to oat crop. A great opportunity to secure vendor bred, well bred, grain trained, weaned, 2X suckers to take home, shear and put onto crop or feeders to hit Christmas lamb contracts. Buyers please note vendor is also offering the Top draft of these lambs in the sale.
