Assessor Comments
Large frame & long bodied Karbullah blood Merino wether lambs - 2 drops with approx 47% Jan/Feb 21 drop (7.5-9.5 months) av:36.4kg & 53% April/May 21 drop (4.5-6.5 months) av:28.1kg. Whilst there is size variance it is simply due to the age & realistically they are well grown and very good quality store wether lambs with enormous compensatory weight gain due to the long shearing curfew and overall body condition. They have not had any set back yet are lighter weights - they are wethers that have the potential to grow into extra large frame sheep. approx 32% carry normal wether horn & a very small number have late cut heavy horn that were marked at weaning. Highly recomended wethers that are most suited as woolgrowing replacements however should also attract significant interest to feed on for the lamb market given their frame, weight gain potential and being recently shorn. I think there is a great opportunity on offer here.
