Assessor Comments
Vendor has presented a good line of woolgrower large frame Wether lambs, in good condition. These Wethers are August/ September 2020 drop, April shorn at the time produced on average a 3.2kg fleece weight, 19.2 micron and yielding 66.88%.At Assessment 82 sheep had their wool Measured with 50hd having 40mm wool, 29 head measured 50mm wool 2 head at 60mm wool and 2 head measure 30mm wool These Wethers are showing plenty of potential and create an ideal opportunity for a re-stocker/woolgrower to secure a line of well bred Wilgunya and Goolgumbla blood line Merinos. At assessment it was noted that a larger percentage of the lambs presented with some horn (all normal Wether horn, no thick horn in the lot). Wethers were marked with rings at lamb marking. Two Wethers were noticed with a longer cut tail.
