A tidy line of 380 mixed sex Poll Dorset sired lambs 40 kg average. The Ballintubber lambs carry a reputation for finishing for the heavy trade and export markets and consistently achieve this either off grain or crop. Lambs are out of large frame Cloven Hills blood composite Ewes ( avg. body weight 70 kg) and are sired by Moora Poll Dorset Rams selected for length, structure, width across the loin and skin type. Lambs are now starting to dry off in the skin and would benefit from shearing asap.
