Assessor Comments
85 Paradoo Prime ewe lambs. All weighed from 38kg to 44kg to average 41kg 4 hours off water. All Late June / July drop. They were weaned at assessment so assume the skins may dry out a little before delivery. The flock has been using Paradoo Prime genetics for the past 12 years. The flock figures are some of the best performing sheep I have come across. In 2021 in a 3 week joining, 92% of the ewes got pregnant, of that 81% were multiples and 19% singles. The farm weaned 150% to ewes joined, which is including ewe lambs out of ewes lambs. Just over 11 lambs per Hectare were weaned which makes the above numbers even more impressive. The Wth lambs are always finished on mum at 18-28kg. If you want production take a good look at these ewes, I haven't come across any better.
