Lead draft of 207 medium to large framed 1.5yr merino ewe hoggets from 'A.J & P.A Mcbride- 'NEPOWIE'. In forward condition, these young ewes are well suited to being joined in the coming weeks to breed a merino or crossbred lamb. Drafted from a line of 700, this line is even in frame size and forward in condition. Showing their strong genetics, these ewes averaged approx 6kg of 18 micron wool when shorn in early November. The vast majority of these ewes are polled, with a handful showing some scur and two horned ewes- a small percentage of these hoggets are out of ewes with horned genetics. Vendor has two lines of young ewes in this sale.
