Lambs were drenched, 6-in-1 booster vaccinated and weaned onto pasture paddock.
Assessor Comments
Offering a very well presented draft of Composite lambs presenting in healthy, forward condition. Offered in a tight weight band of 40kg to 49kg (at assessment) and averaging 44kg (at delivery), lambs were individually weighed prior to assessment. The mob have recorded weight gains over the last month of 270g/day (allowed 150g/day for assessment). Lambs are up to date with animal health treatments and have been well weaned. The Goodwood Composite lambs are sired by high indexing Cashmore Oaklea rams and have been proven performers on farm and for previous purchasers. With the breeding and capacity to finish to heavy trade and export weights these lambs are ideally weighted and presented to take on to pasture or the feedlot (Vendor offers 1100 lambs this sale over 2 lots).
