Assessor Comments
This draft of 670 A/M drop lambs represents the complete drop of the Devonborough downs wether lambs for 2022 with a 5% tail removed. Showing good freshness, growth for age and coming from a strong wool and meat North Ashrose bloodline. These wethers suit feedlotting, backgrounding or wool growing markets. On a sample of the mob the lead 480 hd averaged 37kg. Approximately 97% have been mulsed and tail stripped, and 3% are late marked and have had a ring put on and are non M&TS. Also approximately 10-15 lambs are marked with a double tag which represents only one testicle was removed at marking; lambs look to be in line with the mob and not deemed detrimental but could be removed upon buyer request if need be.
