265 excellent quality 2nd cross F1 SAMM ewe hoggets, aged 1.5yo (May/June 2021-drop). Large frame western-bred ewes presenting in forward to prime condition, weighing 76kg at assessment.
Ewes are NSM, August-shorn with 50mm skin.
This lot is showing all the evidence of 70 years of selection and breeding large frame Eudora blood dams by the Tremain family. F1 SAMM sires from Eudora have been introduced in the past 6 years with strict selection given to body and wool type. Ewes exhibit a nice wide and clean breech (SAMM trait), hence no ewes mulesed at "Clareview" over the past 4 years.
At assessment, skins were damp from recent storm and a small percentage showed stain around the shoulder point with no fly present (refer to photos).
Ewes not crutched but appear clean and dry. This lot is ready to join and would enhance any breeding operation with purchasers sire of choice.
