An outstanding line of 136 Western bred 1st x ewes that are scanned 146% in lamb to 'Southern Cross' and 'Ashbank' poll Dorset rams. These ewes were joined from 28/10/22 to 26/01/23, this longer joining period was caused by recent flooding and inability to access stock. At scanning, only one or two ewes were noticed to be heavy in lamb. These ewes are bred out of very large Merino mothers by top quality 'Retallack' Border Leicester rams. Excellent quality ewes in the prime of their lives. Age break-up; 42 x purple, 94 x yellow. Ewes had lambs weaned off them one week ago. *Buyer's note; 1 x ewe noticed to have old fly strike scarring.
