Assessor Comments
A stylish line of vendor bred Woodpark blood merino ewes scanned in lamb to shapey 'Kismet' bred White Suffolk/Southdown X rams. These ewes have a handy rebate of an average of 55 mm wool on their back and are robust Riverina type sheep as expected for sheep being bred in the Urana/Oaklands district. These ewes are surplus to requirement and will produce many fat lambs for years to come. 32 ewes were scanned as multiple bearing and are marked with a blue dot. The maiden yellow tag ewes were noticeably lighter than their older sisters and explains the spread in the weights as they are still growing in to their frame. Please note an older line of SIL ewes are offered by the vendor in the same sale.
