A wonderful line of 4 & 5 yr old ewes. March/Apr and Aug/ Sept ‘17 & ‘18 drop. All bred on “Ooraine” by the Carson Family. Approx 2000 ewes in this line to be sold as scanned in lamb. Ready to produce P/D x suckers from mid March onwards for 6 weeks. Ewes were not scanned for twins, however as a mixed age lot of 2000 head, the first 100 scanned up at 70% bearing twins and 30% singles. Please note: Ewes were curfewed for over 24 hours when photos and assessment were done. Odd ewe showing small horn, odd ewe showing slight merino characteristics. Station bred Roseville Pk Merino Ewes used to produce the 1st X Ewes in this mob. Rams are purchased from stud sales at Roseville Pk (Merino), Cadell (B/L) and Avalon stud for Poll Dorsets. No seed and only very light burr on these ewes. Reserve will be a very realistic $140 on this lot. Highly recommended by assessor.
