Assessor Comments
On offer is 430 mixed aged ewes with plenty still to offer prospective buyers. Ewes are best described as mostly large frame ewes, with a few smaller framed ewes. These ewes are all from very heavily classed flocks and present an excellent opportunity to buy some quality sheep that do not normally make the market. Ewes are surplus to requirements as restocking from drought is now complete, with fantastic seasons over the past few years. A % of ewes were purchased in from WA in 2021 from a quality line of sheep. These ewes are proven breeders as the Brumpton Family selects heavily for fertility. They would normally be kept, but selling no allowing buyers who are still to join the opportunity to buy some quality ewes for their first cross or merino program. All udders of ewes assessed were sound, with some ewes displaying longer toes but no issue at all. One ewe was noted to have missing ear. Please note ewes had overnight curfew
