Classed rising 6 year old ewes faithfully depastured with Poll Coreena rams in very good joining conditions - April/May 2016 drop. 15th Jan shorn.
This age were born in an exceptional 2016 wet winter year onto outstanding winter herbages which will have allowed full potential growth & development. The Coreena flock are very fertile & achieve very high natural lambing %'s wthout scanning . This age recorded over 100% lambs marked for 2 years running. A plain bodied flock that grow plenty of soft handling quality wool combined with very good carcass traits. Repeat buyers will attest to the performance and quality of the Coreena flock.
These ewes are highly recomended to add to any existing flock or as foundation ewes to any breeder looking to enter the Merino industry.
1 undershot, 1 missing 1 ear & 3 sheep with old cheessey gland nodule/horn in the total number assessed. Approx 3% have light scaly ears.
Offering 2 lots of 585 as a fair run.
