This line of young ewes from the Battersby’s poll merino flock is a small surplus line which has classed out of the main line predominately on their wool type however still have the growth and the stretch to match the main line of classed in ewes. These ewes have the maturity, growth and condition to take the ram right away. These ewes offer the astute purchaser to take a rebate with a shearing before lambing as they have 50mm plus skins already from a July shearing. Odd ewe doesn’t present perfect due to couple of learner shearer’s having a go. A good opportunity to secure some solid Flairdale blood young ewes. Please note, Vendor also selling their 190 CLASSED IN ewe hoggets in the same sale.
