Assessor Comments
Excellently presented true to type Australian White x ewe lambs. The vendors moved out of Merinos in 2006 and purchased composite x shedding sheep and bred with Toms Lake Wiltshire White Dorpers and Saltbush White Dorper sires up until 2016. The vendors then purchased the Avanley Australian White stud which they have been breeding their own commercial flock rams since and putting over their commercial flock. This line of 335 are the draft under 48Kgs LW when we assessed the total of 835. They will be sold in two lines of 168 & 167 run out the gate. They have been running with rams continuously and a % look visibly in lamb. We mouthed 100 out of 835 assessed and found 5% which had cut 2 teeth. The Litchfields will deliver the sheep to the Jamestown saleyards for your convenience. Please see 3 other lines same sale which may help for trucking and numbers.
