Assessor Comments
Vendor bred White Dorper ewe lambs and hoggets SIL to the Low Footprint Lamb sires. Sires have been selected with a strong emphasis on full shedding ability, worm resilience and footrot EBV’s. These maidens have been scanned in lamb at 104% (drys removed) from a tight 37 day joining window 26/10-01/12/22. They are not overdone and will fatten to medium to large framed ewes if required. A portion of these maidens were shorn to remove Bathurst burr only. They are all the progeny of parents that have never been shorn in their lives. A quality line of young ewes scanned in lamb to shedding sires with EBV’s to establish a performance recorded shedding flock. Please note vendor has another line of SIL mixed age White Dorpers in todays sale. Offering 148 head over 3 lots to be delivered as a run out the gate. Majority of these lambs are showing great shedding characteristics. They have all been sired by full shedding parents. Bathurst burr does grow on property but these hoggets have been running on clean stubbles.
