Annual sale of Pegler Pastorals ewe lambs. There are 540 total ewe lambs in todays sale offered in 2 lots of 270 sold as a run out the gate. Small tail taken off. Sample weighed 32-61kg to avg 44. They have been weaned and present in fresh condition and are on the do. These ewe lambs have been OJD vaccinated at marking, had a eweguard at weaning. Weighed 33kg avg when weaned on 28th Sept so have been avg over 300g weight gain per day since then. These ewes are bred for early performance and fertility. Ewe lambs are bred out of high performing self replacing Cashmore Oaklea maternal composites. All ewes retained for past 6 generations are all from twin mothers. 2022 Flock ewes 165% lambs marked, maidens 150% marked. Ewes are run at high stocking rates to produce high numbers of Lambs weaned/hectare. Rams used are all in the top 1-3% for maternal $ performance with focus on high % of lambs and good post weaning weights. These ewe lambs come highly recommended.
