Presented is the annual sale of Chatsworth Pasotral bred first cross ewe lambs. These ewes have reacted to the favourable seasonal conditions well, presenting in good, fresh, forward condition. Averaging 52Kg at assessment and topping at 61Kg, these maiden ewes have matured into the ideal 1X ewe and will produce desirable progeny to suit both the trade and export lamb markets. A genuine article of 1X maiden ewes, sired by the Retallack Border Leicester Rams, out of Riverina bred medium to large framed, fertile, plain bodied merino ewes. These ewes have had all of their health treatments including the Gudair vaccination. August/September 2020 drop and January shorn with 2.5 to 3 inches of current wool length. Ewes show desirable breeding traits including clean open faces, medium to large frame and good depth and structure. A great opportunity to secure a genuine line of 220 vendor bred, gudair vaccinated, 1X maiden ewes they are mature enough to join and produce a desirable 2X lamb.
