Assessor Comments
A nice line of 100 x October 2022 Drop Ewes. Fullerton Merino Stud surplus commercial ewes.This group had a 20% tail removed at assessment. The lambs are in forward store condition and given the opportunity will reach target joining weight for an autumn joining. The vendors are passionate sheep producers and the ewe base are medium to large frame fine/ medium type merinos. The majority of the ewe hoggets were classed in as breeders, they were classed out a second time due to a very good weaning. The ewes offer buyers a great opportunity to select heavy cutting merino genetics to produce merino or terminal lambs.
Note: the lambs were treated with Avenge backline as part of their management group. Avenge was chosen as blowfly strike prevention within the vendor’s annual chemical rotation.
