A top quality line of pure Grass blood merino SIL ewes. These ewes are SIL to quality Marocara Poll Dorset Rams. These ewes come from a flock with high fertility traits that have averaged an impressive 110% lambing for the last 10years the flock is classed and indexed annually and are only being sold as they are surplus to the vendors needs. These ewes present in forward store conditions and would be ready to go into any breeding rotation. They show plenty of stand up and stretch of body. the flock average 19 micron wool cutting 6.5kg. The Maze is one of the first commercial Flocks in Australia to be Fully DNA tested and classed based on Genomic Breeding Values The flock is in the top 1% of the industry for Weaning Rate (reproduction) and in the top 5% for Clean Fleece Weight based on the Flock Profile Test. The flock has been objectively measured for over 50 years. These ewes can be bought with confidence.
