Assessor Comments
On offer is a line of Merino ewes, 6.5 years old, SIL with all multiples (200%) to White Suffolk rams. Ewes are Western Australian bred and contain 2x marks, both Nepowie blood. They were purchased on AuctionsPlus ex Reola Station, White Cliffs, and have also been tagged with various colour Reola tags. Ewes were mouthed in September prior to joining and any broken mouths removed. Approx. 30 ewes mouthed at assessment, most had good sound mouths, noted 2 broken mouths, some worn mouths and the odd ewe missing outside teeth. Ewes show good frame and a nice start in the jacket. Great opportunity to secure Merino ewes to lamb down and wean lambs from, and then fatten for the mutton trade. The single bearing ewes from this line are also on offer in this sale, giving you the opportunity to put both lots together.
