104 2022 drop SIL merino ewe hoggets, October shorn, in lamb to Poll Dorset and White Suffolk sires. Scanned to pickup 5 week joining. Well grown young ewes with a good 50 mm skin on there back. Purchased in as ewe lambs via A+ in October 2022. Vendor has done a great job growing these sheep out. Scanned in lamb at 125%. Ewes Ave 60 kg at assessment and will continue to grow out into large frame, plain body ewes. Lice was detected at shearing and have been treated off shears and again in December, lice not detected at assessment but showing signs of rubbing. Vendor has a total of 450 in todays sale.
