These sheep are light in condition but are good strong sheep with good frame. The light ewes in this consignment have only recently had lambs weaned off them, and they will respond with time and feed.

This is a line of 110 vendor bred 1.5 year old 1st BL Merino X ewes. These ewes are bred from a closed Grogansworth Flock which is a Riverina bred sheep, and these young ewes exhibit the same characteristics for frame as you would with northern bred sheep. These sheep are ideal to purchase for any crossbred breeding operating, and are ready to join to rams of choice. There are some sheep in this consignment that had lambs as lambs (approx 15%), and those lambs were weaned off 3 weeks prior to this sale. The ewes that have reared a lamb are generally lighter in condition, however their bags have cleaned up and they are freshening up each day. A very well bred line of sheep suitable for any crossbreeding operation.
