Avondale are dispersing their merino ewes
Purchased originally as ewes with lambs at foot this line of sheep have consistanly weaned 130% big heavy succker lambs and maintained heavy wool cuts.
The 115 ewes are over 55% 2.5s and the remainder 4.5 and 5.5 year olds
Plainer bodies with some neck wrinkle but cleans points and well mulesed these are easy doing ewes.
Av 87kgs and in forward condition they have the insurance to handle the season conditions and lamb down well.
Mated to Allandale Suffolks prospective purchaser's can take advantage of incoming strong spring lamb market.
