Assessor Comments
Buyers, a tidy small line of young ewes that have plenty to offer for more quality years of breeding. They have presented in excellent condition as the fat scores indicate and have plenty of frame, length and depth of barrel. Highly productive ewes that are performing very well in lighter country. They have recently had lambs weaned off but you wouldn't know as they are still in excellent condition. The lead 30% of the wether lamb portion were sold straight off their mothers at 50kgs plus at the end of April. The ewe lamb potion have recently scanned at 70% in lamb. As mentioned they are SIL by a very experienced scanner (Bruce Toms) and also have 42% to lamb as multiples. See photos of a ewe with either a shear cut or a little bit of old dry fly on the shoulder and also a ewe with the small lump behind her jaw (will not affect their breeding performance though). Be aware there is also an additional lot of older Australian White ewes also scanned in lamb that can be used to fill decks.
