Assessor Comments
SIL mixed age white dorper ewes. 100 head are 1-2 years old with the balance 3-5 years. SIL with 14 head carrying twins to White Dorper and Australian White rams from a short 35 day joining. Buronga Pastoral have been breeding white dorpers for over 20 years and class on fertility, pigment, structure, shedding and worm resilience. These ewes are being sold due to being out of sync having missed getting in lamb on their first 35 day joining. They are suited to any climate and present in top condition. The perfect article to start a flock or add to any existing flock. Clean full shedding ewes in the prime of their breeding life. Average weight of 56kg being lighter due to the weight of the 58 ewe lambs in the line. Typically medium-larger framed when mature. Please note 25 head were purchased from a flock dispersal out of St Arnaud, Vic. Opportunity to secure SIL shedding ewes with years of production ahead of them.
