119 3.5year old, BL x Merino ewes. Dec shorn and backlined with Encore. Lambs were weaned off them on 2/12/25. They were purchased in as ewe lambs in Dec 22 from central Vic off AP. In Dec they weaned 124% of lambs in a tough year. They have been split into 2 lines based on condition and frame size, 138 in the tops and 119 in the bottoms, these are the bottoms. They are true to type and present well. They have not seen a ram. At assessment I checked all udders and mouths to be sound. They had signs of lice in Dec so at shearing they were backlined with Encore. The bottom end of these ewes are a bit lighter in condition though given some feed through Jan/Feb they will join up, the majority are in ideal condition for joining. They are the only first X ewes on the farm the rest are composites, the only reason for the sale is to simplify the operation.
