Assessor Comments
BOOMEY STAGE ONE DISPERSAL. A line of 120 x 4-7 year old Organic Certified white Dorper 'Matchless' blood ewes SIL 100% to 'Kaya' blood white Dorper rams for a tight 6.5 week joining period. These ewes show good Dorper traits and have good depth, and frame, and have reared lambs every year. This vendor started breeding Dorpers in 1998, and in the last 10 years 'Matchless' then 'Kaya' blood rams have been used. This vendor has been line breeding for muscle, wool cover on backs, and working on shoulder problems which they now have little to no shoulder problems. *BUYERS NOTE: there are 3 other lots in this sale; two lots of 110 X 9-13 month old ewes SIL run out the gate, and another lot of 2-3 year old ewes SIL. There will be more lines of the 'Boomey' ewes for purchase on AuctionsPlus next week, and in June. Approximately 240 x ewe lambs, 300 x 2020 ewes, 300 x mixed age ewes, and 250 x 2022 ewe lambs.
