Assessor Comments
Excellent line of 124 x Aug/Sept 2024 drop, 1st Cross ewe lambs, bred out of large frame 'GLENWOOD' blood SRS dual purpose merino ewes and sired by high indexing 'GLENEITH' Border Leicester rams. The Rice family spare no expenses when selecting there breeding genetics as Glenwood target "early growth, moderate mature weight, positive muscling, and fat which is paramount to ensuring the flock is highly fertile, resilient and easy care". Having high Indexing rams from GLENEITH really gives these ewes the depth, fertility & maturity to be an asset for the purchasers intended breeding program. Weight range 47 - 73kg averaging 58kg liveweight. E/L are at the right age/weight to be joined to intended purchasers ram straight away. @ Assessment due to the rich nourished river country feed ewes displayed heavy dag but will be bunged at delivery if buyer requests which is deemed non detrimental. OPPORTUNITY AWAITS "Breeding females are the future of the industry."
