Assessor Comments
A line of merino ewes with marked lambs at foot sired by Southdown Charolais X rams. An opportunity with spring around the corner to purchase a line of stock with some fattening and growing potential if given the correct nutrition and feed.
These ewes are medium frame with excellent quality wool type that averaged 17.5 mic. They are meadows bred and blood, structurally sound and are doing an excellent job of rearing their lambs so far.
One lame ewe was observed at assessment but no scald etc could be seen.
The property is lice free however it has several neighbouring properties so as a precaution the vendor is going to treat them with Extinosad prior to delivery. No lice could be found at assessment.
Medium to heavy Bathurst Burr infestation, the wool on the ewes is pulled from Bathurst Burr and Thistles.
There are two additional lambs that will be given in.
