Assessor Comments
A nice smaller line of very good quality 1.5 year old maiden merino ewes, offering an immediate rebate to the purchaser by way of the impressive 95mm jacket of soft, stylish, fine wool, ready to be harvested. These ewes are well grown, & have attained ideal maturity & weight for a favourable conception rate at joining. These young ewes are perfectly situated to be shorn now, allowing for a quick freshen up off-shears, & an optimum preparation for an early Autumn joining. Ewes are well balanced, impressing in both wool & carcass attributes, & are showcasing the years of breeding refinement, from a well regarded breeder of top quality Merino sheep in the Dunedoo district. Ewes are primed for joining & set to develop into very large, heavy wool cutters, (evidenced by the vendors 370 NSM 4.5 year olds, also on offer this sale), & would be equally suited to a Merino or Xb lamb breeding operation. A top quality article, offering an instant return with a lifetime of production ahead of them.
