Worn / broken::
In the ewes described as worn there were 5 only slightly worn and a further 3 mouths spreading slightly. The ewe with the broken mouth looks to be a chance she has broken one tooth off somehow as the rest of her teeth were still very sound.
Assessor Comments
Buyers, a small line of ewes that still have plenty to offer for more quality years of breeding. They have presented in store to forward store condition indicated by the fat scores and range from large to medium frame. As mentioned they are SIL by a very experienced scanner (Bruce Toms) and also have 30% to lamb as multiples. Highly productive ewes that are performing very well in lighter country. They have recently had lambs weaned off so consequently some ewes that are plainer in condition could quite possibly have been rearing multiples. The lead 30% of the wether lamb portion were sold straight off their mothers at 50kgs plus at the end of April. The ewe lamb potion have recently scanned at 70% in lamb. Buyers will also note in the photos and video that these ewes remain as long tails. Buyers be aware there are is also an additional lot of younger Australian White x Australian White/White Suffolk ewes also scanned in lamb that can be used to fill some decks.
