Assessor Comments
A good run of well bred, Merino ewe maidens from the Wyuna flock. The Westons buy top end Tara Park Merino sires with a strong focus on wool cut. Ewes are shown no special treatment throughout their lives and generally wean 93-94% of lambs each year. These ewes would be a good opportunity for a join, shear and trade or to retain for many years as breeders. Ewes present in forward condition, ready for the ram of choice. Ewes have all been OJD vacc, mulesed and have a nice mid-Oct skin back on them. All individually numbered on tags. Please note: Vendor also has 258 White tag (6.5 years) ewes and 119 orange tag (5.5 years) in todays sale. Also an opportunity to put together 4 decks of proven breeders as well as these maidens for a quality Merino enterprise. Odd ewe with small amount of stain, would benefit from a crutch upon delivery.
