A good quality line of well bred, NSM, maiden merino ewes, MAY/JUNE & AUG/SEPT '25 drop, mulesed, August shorn. These combined Autumn & Spring 2025 Drop ewe lamb & hoggets are developing well & possess the breeding potential to continue to develop into large framed future breeders, being bred from top quality GULLENDAH merino sires over big, heavy-boned stretchy ewes, from a self-replacing merino flock, with well over 20 years of bloodlines based on CORA LYNN genetics, & more recently GULLENDAH bloodlines. These ewes cut 4kg of bright, stylish, soft fleece at their respective 7.5 months of age shearing, which typically averages under 18 micron as lambs & just over 18 micron as they mature. Ewes have been recently shorn again as shorter wools to bring them into line as one shearing for presentation, in preparation for sale. Ewes are bred from a very fertile, self-replacing flock, with breeders scanning empty, culled out each year. These maiden ewes are presenting in very good condition, & will continue to freshen further in the coming weeks, putting them in ideal stead for a Spring joining to the rams of your choice. The respective wether portion of the drops have been averaging $300 to the processors, throughout the Winter. A small portion of ewes sampled had soft scur buds, & 2 ewes had small horns. A good opportunity to secure a nice line of one-mark quality young ewes, which are ready to join, on account of a very well regarded breeder of excellent quality merino sheep.
