A neat line of young ewes showing good growth and vigour for their age. Station mated to Rene Charolais rams to lamb early august (see details above). June/July 2020 drop and purchased as suckers with the intention of being retained as breeders. These ewe lambs derive from a "Isis River Composite" base from Tasmania. The Vendors have done everything in their power from a husbandry perspective to ensure the best possible conception rate. Teaser rams went in on the 21/2/21 followed by a tight 6-7 week joining at 5 %. This particular line was selected for early maturing and fertility. Considering the condition of these ewe lambs i would be quite confident that they would of joined up reasonably well for ewe lambs of that age. I think successful buyer would be pleasantly suprised if they were to scan these ewes at a later date.
