A Very Good line of hazeldean blood merino ewes, 17 Micron, purchased as classed in direct from the breeder. The ewes have a good large frame for type but after a dry Autumn would be considered to be in there working clothes and on the improve. Ewes will commence lambing August to quality low birthweight Springwaters Poll Dorset rams. Scanning rates show 132% in lamb. These ewes all weaned Dorset lamb's last season. The wool quality was very good last year, and the ewes were deemed to be good mothers. 48 Twins and the balance were scanned as singles. Good quality middle-aged ewes on the do in time before lambing, would be a great trade on crop or could carry over for years to come. Original assessment available upon request
