Assessor Comments
The owners have been selecting rams on post-weaning weight, yearling weight, eye muscle depth and yearling fat for the past 18 years. Their goals for their breeding flock are to improve carcass weight at the same time as increasing fleece weights and maintaining low-micron on plain-bodied merinos that are non-mulesed. These ewes are bred from a flock that has increased fertility and lamb survivability genetically imprinted. They have been a non-mulesed flock for 18 years. Quality young ewes to add to your merino breeding program. All the ewes were individually weighed at assessment.
