Offering a good line of middle aged 1st Border Leicester/East Friesian x Merino Ewes. These ewes are June/July 2021 drop. They are generally good medium to large frame. 85% of ewes present in forward to fat condition with approx 15% of ewes lighter condition and smaller frame. (Offering the complete drop of 2021 drop ewes).
These ewes are November shorn, Mlsd and have had a full crutch. The 2022 & 2021 drop ewes were lambed down together and the vendor marked 121% lambs. Noted the vendor lost a few lambs due to unfavourable weather conditions during lambing. Ideal ewes with all their breeding lives ahead of them and will only continue to improve in condition now lambs have been weaned off.
Note: Sire breeding of these ewes is using rams containing 75% border leicester &25 % East Friesian genetics.
