Lead draft of 312 medium to large framed 1yr merino ewe hoggets from 'A.J & P.A Mcbride- 'NEPOWIE', being offered in two lots of 156. In forward condition & fresh off the board, these young ewes are well suited to being joined in the near future to breed a merino or crossbred lamb. Drafted from a line of 1600, this line is even in frame size and condition. Showing their strong genetics, these ewes averaged approx 18 micron at shearing at the end of September. The vast majority of these ewes are polled, with a handful showing some scur. A small percentage of these hoggets are out of ewes with horned genetics. Vendor has multiple lines in this sale broken up into suitable lot sizes.
